UNT's Spring 2008 Career Festival
March 4 and 5, 2008; 10 AM - 2 PM
University Green
What is the UNT Career Festival?
- The Career Festival is an event that the Career Center hosts usually held the week before the Career Fair to help drive attendance to the Career Fair.
- This event is held outdoors between the College of Business and the Union in the area known as "The Green".
- The Career Center offers students free;
- Cotton Candy
- Sno Cones
- Popcorn
- Cokes
- Under a big tent students can get lunch for a dollar, which includes a hot dogs, bag of chips, and a cookie.
- Up to eight employers per day are features under another large tent. The employer may hand out information and talk with students about opportunities they have available.
- Music and announcements are provided by a DJ who keeps it lively throughout the event.
This is a very popular event because it is outside and has a lot of appeal to the UNT students looking forward to seeing each other now that they are finally back on campus.
A large number of students participate in this event while they are going back and forth to class. This event is one of the most heavily participated events of the semester.
The cost to sponsor a table is $250 per day.
Because only 16 employers are able to participate in this event, sponsorships go fast!
