On Campus Interview Process
What is an On Campus Interview?
On Campus Interviews (OCI's) provide students and alumni the opportunity to interview with a wide variety of companies for full-time career and internships positions in a single campus location. Since interviews are conveniently conducted in the Career Center, students are able to schedule interview times that fit within their class and activity obligations. These are real employers interviewing students and alumni for real career opportunities. Interviews are scheduled in both the Fall and Spring semesters each year. Employers typically recruit in the Fall semester for December and May graduates and in the Spring semester for May and August graduates.
How Do I Sign-Up?
Students and Alumni may request an interview through the Eagle Network System:
What are the Different Types of Interview Schedules?
Preselect
A pre-select schedule allows employers to pre-screen student resumes for their interview schedules. Resumes are reviewed by employers after the resume submission deadline has passed and the employers will make their pre-selections online through the Eagle Network. Students and Alumni who are pre-selected are automatically notified by email to sign up for an interview time. Pre-selected applicants are then responsible to self-schedule a timeslot for their interview.
Open
An open schedule allows students and alumni who meet the job requirements to sign up for an interview time without needing to be pre-selected. Employers will be able to view the resumes as they are submitted for the interviews. The interview schedule closes two days prior to the interview date.
Set your Own Schedule (SOS) / Day After Interviews
This option allows employers to create their own interview schedule outside the Eagle Network system. This choice is used by employers who have limited time and need an interview schedule as soon as possible. It is also used by employers who want to interview applicants the day after a career fair.
No-Show Policy
Candidates may remove themselves from an interview schedule through the Eagle Network system until two working days prior to the interview date. After that, it is imperative you contact the Career Center at (940) 565-2105 to cancel or change appointment times.
Candidates that fail to attend their scheduled interview times without notifying the Career Center, will have their account blocked in the Eagle Network system. To restore access to the system, a candidate must complete the following steps:

Employer Information Sessions
Some employers also host Information Sessions as part of their recruiting strategy. An information session is a formal presentation companies host to share about their company culture, company information and company career paths. This is a great opportunity to network and to research more information about companies recruiting at UNT. All UNT students and alumni are encouraged to attend these information sessions. Students who will be interviewing with these companies are highly encouraged to attend. Please refer to the Eagle Network Events Calendar for the most current schedule of upcoming Information Sessions.
