Career Center Video Vault
Library and Information Sciences Networking Night
The video features a panel discussion and networking session focused on Library Sciences networking and the best practices in job searching. The Career Center's Career Networking program provides a forum for future graduates and alumni to meet employers relevant to their career field to discuss career development in Library Sciences. Students are encouraged to ask questions about employment that they may not otherwise feel comfortable addressing in an interview environment, when the risk of job loss is not at stake. Present is an employer panel of experts that shares their networking and job search best practices with the students. Following the panel discussion the panelists and students adjourn to a casual networking session providing the students an opportunity to sharpen their networking skills with actual employers.
