MEET RYAN! An Operations and Supply Chain Management major at UNT who is currently working at GIX Logistics as their Freight Management Intern!
Here is a bit of Ryan’s story!
“I started at UNT in the fall of 2019. My plans after graduation are to work for a year or two to gain some experience and then hopefully go back to school back to school for my master’s degree. My advice to other students as they decide what they want their next steps would be to schedule an advising appointment with your internship coordinator at the UNT Career Center and apply to as many internships as possible. My program helped me feel prepared for my [intership] role by making me familiar with a lot of terminologies used in the field. I found my current role at a UNT career fair. The toughest interview question I was asked was “Why should we not hire you?” The Career Center helped me by showing me where to start my internship search.”
