Internship Graduation Cords

Did you know that if you are graduating and have completed an internship, practicum, student teaching, or any other experiential learning during your time at UNT, you are eligible to receive a platinum graduation cord?

It’s super easy! Follow these steps:

Step 1: Fill out this brief form on Handshake about your internship. Select “Not For Credit” as your Experience Type. If you have previously filled out this form to receive course credit for an internship, then you are already done! Please note: this form is not the same as the employment history listed on your Handshake profile.

Step 2: Once you have reported your experience in Handshake (Step 1. above), notify the Internship Team by adding your name and email here:

Once a member of the Internship Team has verified your information in Handshake, you will receive an email to your UNT email address with instructions on how to pick up a platinum graduation cord from the Career Center.

For any questions about the process, contact corey.davidson@unt.edu.

For information on other graduation cords and accessories, please view the Commencement Regalia page

Bonus, complete the First Destination Survey.
