Amy Ferman (she, her, hers) – Associate Director-Employer Development
I attended Stephen F. Austin State University for my Bachelor’s in Communications. I attended UNT for my Master’s degree in Higher Education. Fun Fact: I love the shows Seinfeld and Schitt’s Creek.
Describe a typical workday, tasks, and what you enjoy most about your job?
I meet with employers to engage them in virtual recruiting activities. I enjoy seeing students make a valuable networking connection and/or receive an internship or job offer due to our services.
Describe the services you provide for UNT students.
My team organizes and puts on career fairs and information sessions.
Why do you believe students utilize the Career Center? What are the benefits?
I believe students utilize the Career Center to obtain networking skills, connections, access to internship and job postings, and access to employers at events.
