Megan Namayi (she, her, hers) – Career Development Specialist – Generalist
I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Secondary English Education and Theatre Education. I worked for a small private school for 3.5 years before taking a position at the University of Arkansas. I went on to complete my Master’s in Higher Education at the University of Arkansas. I currently work as a Career Development Specialist at the Frisco Campus.
Describe a typical workday, tasks, and what you enjoy most about your job?
My primary task is meeting with students, mainly in the Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science (BAAS) program or with students on the Frisco campus. I also plan student programming. Every month, I report the number of student contacts Frisco has made.
Describe the services you provide for UNT students.
I work on our Frisco campus. I provide Career Advising, Resume Review, Cover Letter Review, Interview Prep, Mock Interview, Job Search, and Internship Search.
