All UNT online students and alumni have access to virtual resources, programs and opportunities through the Career Center to assist in achieving their career goals. These services are highlighted below.
Career Coaches and Internship Specialists are available to meet by phone, videoconference, and email. Appointments and daily drop-in times are available. Services include career exploration, resume and cover letter reviews, skills identification, LinkedIn profiles, networking, practice interviews, job and internship search and more. Most majors, check out Connect with the Career Center. Business majors access Connect with the Career Resource Center.
These tools and information are available 24/7 to assist with your career journey.
Many live, virtual events are hosted by the Career Center. These events are recorded and are available as Video resources so students can access them 24/7. There are also video resources on the career topics students ask about most frequently, and the videos can be sorted by topic.
Virtual Career Fairs feature employers who are hiring for internships and post-graduation positions and are hosted on a virtual recruiting platform so all you need is an internet connection.
Virtual Information Sessions are hosted by some companies and are a great way to connect with company representatives and learn more about the employer and available job opportunities.
Mean Green Mentors is a virtual mentoring program. Students can seek knowledge and advice from UNT alumni and some of our amazing employer partners who are working in a wide array of industries and fields.
Virtual Office Hours with Employers gives students the chance to speak with a professional recruiter in a non-interview situation to get resume advice, interview tips and more.
