Job Title: Crisis Intervention Specialist, Part-Time
We are looking for a compassionate and team-oriented Crisis Intervention Specialist to
join our agency. This position provides crisis intervention via telephone including
assessment, information and referral services. Candidates must have the ability to work
Main Position Activities:
Provide screening and intake services for victims of relationship violence and
sexual assault requesting safe shelter
Arrange or provide transportation for eligible clients to the shelter, emergency
medical facilities, community resources, and other shelters as appropriate
Assist in ongoing cleaning and maintenance of shelter facility.
Assist in supervision of household responsibilities and supplies.
Document activities properly as directed by the Director of Residential and Crisis
Services and outlined in the Policies and Procedures Manual.
High School Diploma or Equivalent, some college preferred with social science
Over the age of 23 years, Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Proficiency in office applications (ex. Word, Excel) and other common office
Demonstrated ability to be both self-directed and work within a team.
Flexible schedule with ability to work overnight or provide coverage for other staff.
