Entry Level Cyber Security Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities:
§ Provide hardware / software / network problem diagnosis / resolution via telephone for customer’s end users
§ Route problems to internal I.M. support staff.
§ Coordinate and manage relationships with vendors and support staff that provide hardware / Software / network problem resolution.
§ Administer and provide User Access and Exit controls.
§ Use the Call Tracking System to document and manage problems and work requests and their respective resolutions and circumvention’s.
§ Work closely with help desk peers in cross-training, development/implementation of operational excellence procedures and fostering teamwork.
§ Work closely with I.M. support staff to obtain technical knowledge and to permanently solve chronic problems.
§ Understanding of native windows/linux log formats and log content and patterns
§ Understanding of SIEM and SOAR (Security Automation and Orchestration) concepts
§ Knowledge of Security incident management life cycle
§ Understanding of cybersecurity terms vulnerability, exploit, TTP (Tactic, techniques and procedures), Security incident, Security Breach, Malware, Ransomware, data exfiltration, DOS, Cross site scripting etc.
§ Basic knowledge on Network security/ System Security/ Endpoint Security.
§ Good verbal/written communication skills
§ Client facing technical analysis report and presentation skills
Work Locations:
Frisco, TX
Cary, NC.
§ Project Locations: Client locations across United States on Short- or Long-term assignment.
Qualifications:
§ Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security, or Computer Science/Information Technology with a focus on Cyber Security.
