Description: Lockheed Martin is looking for high-performing engineering students interested in developing their skills through a summer internship at the Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) business area in Dallas, Texas. Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. This is Lockheed Martin’s lead business unit for research, development and production of manned and unmanned ground-vehicle systems, electro-optical and smart munitions systems and is a pioneer in the field of versatile, high-performance missile and rocket technology. Interns will support Systems Engineers, gaining valuable experience in areas such as missile system assembly, integration and testing.
Basic Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in an Engineering discipline from an accredited college,
Ability to obtain a security clearance,
Experience with basic system integration and testing methodologies,
Must have good communication skills,
Must be able to effectively work in a team environment,
Must have strong problem-solving skills
Desired Skills:
Experience in the planning and execution of missile assembly, integration and testing

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
