Part Time Administrative Manager

Established Dallas music ensemble seeks detail-oriented Administrative Manager to work alongside Artistic Director in developing Orchestra’s Artistic, Educational, and Cultural interests in its 8 concert annual series and related events presented in the Dallas area.

Goals

  • To widen our audience of adults and students through enhanced marketing and outreach
  • To streamline our operations

Responsibilities to include:

  • Help expand the Orchestra’s audience, online presence, & general visibility
  • Coordinate marketing, social media & website design/updates
  • Participate in concert/event planning
  • Interface with public via communication and presence at concerts
  • Assist with fundraising and grant preparation: application, monthly and final reports
  • Coordinate ensemble, grant related, and correspondence schedules

Creative opportunities

  • Developing the Orchestra’s season subscriber & donor base
  • Exploring new venues for events & partners for collaboration
  • Assisting with Design of educational and Outreach programs
  • Supporting Marketing Director

Qualifications

  1. Strong writing and editing skills
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and GSuite and website maintenance
  3. Excellent Mac skills, including iMovie or similar video editing software
  4. Digital media, website, and YouTube skills
  5. Bachelors degree
  6. Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  7. Experience in marketing and data base management
  8. Ability to multi-task in fast-paced office
  9. Spanish language and music ensemble experience a plus but not essential
  10. Work schedule will be part-time (10-15 hours starting), with potential for full-time
