POSITION SUMMARY:
- Areas of concentration and specific project work to follow the two-week corporate training:
- Support Marketing and Communications Departmental functions and relation to internal lines of business as well as external audiences and constituencies
- Communications – assist the Department with copy writing, research and graphic design for internal communication channels including intranet, email, print media, and videos
- Digital Marketing – assist with content creations for customer-facing channels including websites and email
- Event Management – support the management of both onsite and offsite events; intern will work cross-functionally to manage and coordinate corporate events
- Project Management – participate in the planning and execution of short and long-term marketing projects, gaining exposure to principles of project management
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Graphic design, video editing or other content creation skills a strongly preferred, not required
- Accuracy and deep attention to detail; highly organized
- Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage projects and multitask
- Able to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Pro-active, flexible and adaptable to change
- Strong analytic skills
- Proven self-starter
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Pursuing a BS or BBA in Business or Marketing
MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Experienced in Graphic Design (Adobe Suite) software
