Job Title: IT Merchandising Intern
(this position is Hybrid working 2 days a week in the SBH Texas Support Center)

Essential Function
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented summer intern to join our IT Merchandising team. The intern will support our team in creating business cases, flow diagrams, reporting, project planning, and other activities as assigned. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT project management and contribute to the success of critical IT Merchandising initiatives.
Primary Duties
40% Assist the projects in writing business cases through storytelling, creating the supporting documentation such as flow diagrams, reporting, and project planning activities.
30% Conduct research and analysis to support our business cases by assisting during meetings with our business and IT partners
20% Assist in the coordination and management of project plan administrative functions i.e., managing project timelines and documenting meeting notes and actions
10% Participate in project meetings and assist in preparing meeting agendas and minutes
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Project Management, or Supply chain
- Strong interest in IT and project management.
- Excellent data analysis skills.
- Proficient in Excel and power point data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Previous internship experience in IT or project management is a plus.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
