Summary:
This position is responsible for a variety of tasks related to order processing, customer service, product descriptions, receiving, and assisting with the buying process for our e-commerce store at Terry Costa. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and have excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Processing:
- Process website orders accurately and efficiently for TerryCosta.com
- Pull or place items on dropship based on order requirements.
- Ring up orders accurately.
- Bag and tag items when required.
- Order Tracking and Vendor Communication:
- Check tracking information for website orders placed on TerryCosta.com
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery and update customers accordingly.
- Receive and inspect delivered drop ship orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Website Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries related to shipping dates, order status, tracking information, and product details for TerryCosta.com
- Resolve customer issues and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Product Descriptions:
- Write clear and engaging product descriptions that accurately represent the features and benefits of products sold on TerryCosta.com
- Update product descriptions as needed to reflect any changes or updates to products.
- Accurately tag products according to key features for proper placement on TerryCosta.com
- Receiving:
- Receive and inspect all incoming invoices for accuracy.
- Verify that each invoice matches the corresponding Purchase Order (PO) details (price, quantity, style, size, color, etc.) for Terry Costa.
- Ensure all invoices are received before the completion date specified on the PO.
- Communicate discrepancies or issues with invoices to the relevant departments at Terry Costa for resolution.
- Communicate with vendors or suppliers regarding invoice discrepancies, pricing issues, or other concerns.
- Buying:
- Assist with daily ordering/reordering tasks, including special orders and reorders for TerryCosta.com
- Monitor deliveries and coordinate with vendors on past due purchase orders.
- Assist with processing special orders, including customer information, purchase orders, bluebook records, alerting customers of delivery dates, and filing paperwork for Terry Costa.
- Assist with entering purchase orders in a timely manner for accurate reporting, pre-order dates on TerryCosta.com, and a smooth receiving process.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Experience with e-commerce platforms is a plus
