Marcy Bishop-Lilley is a Career Coach and supports students in Communication Design, Pre-Communication Design, Interior Design, Pre-Interior Design, Drawing/Painting, New Media, Photography, and Pre-Studio Art for these concentrations in the College of Visual Arts and Design. Marcy earned an M.F.A. in Painting and Drawing from the University of North Texas and a B.A. in Art Education from University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She likes helping UNT students by facilitating an environment in which students can find and acknowledge their strengths to pursue their dreams. When she is not at UNT, she is brunching, traveling, snuggling her puppies, and gardening with her husband. The best piece of advice she received was, “Don’t worry about a thing, ’cause every little thing gonna be all right.” She has been described as creative, calm, and thoughtful.

Delaney Smith-Vaughn is a Career Coach and supports students in the College of Visual Arts and Design in the following concentrations: Art History, Interdisciplinary Art and Design Studies, Pre-Art Education and Art Education, Pre-Fashion Design and Fashion Design, Pre-Studio Art, Printmaking, Ceramics, Metalsmithing and Jewelry, and Sculpture.
Delaney earned an MFA in Fibers from the University of North Texas, and a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Southern Mississippi. She has 15 years of experience in art, design, and teaching. Before arriving at UNT, she was a Design Director for an integrated marketing agency, a Professor of Art, and a Seamstress. She teaches workshops nationally at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts and Penland School of Craft, and locally at Oil and Cotton. She enjoys guiding others through the sticky and vulnerable parts of the creative process and helping students realize their dreams.
