Recreation, Event, and Sport Management
Each recreation, event and sport management student is required to complete a total of 12 credit hours of on-site internship experience (RECR 4100). Prerequisites: Completion of RESM 3050 and RESM 4050, plus seven additional RESM core courses; A minimum of 2.25 overall GPA; a minimum of 2.50 GPA in all RESM courses with a C or better in each course; Verification of 400 “service” hours of paid or voluntary experience in a recreation, park, sport or leisure service agency within the past 48 months; and Departmental permission to enroll in the course.
