The Ryan College of Business requires students in most majors to complete an internship
as a graduation requirement. Internships provide valuable opportunities for RCOB majors
to begin the transition to a business professional by gaining real-world experience
in their chosen fields. Students work alongside experienced professionals, and develop
practical, occupation-specific skills, build confidence, and expand professional networks.
These hands-on experiences often bridge the gap between academic learning and workplace
expectations. Additionally, internships can help individuals clarify career goals
and enhance their resumes, making them more competitive in the job market.
