Susan Bradley (she, her, hers) – College of Science Career Coach

I was born and raised in Fayetteville, AR. I got my undergraduate degree in Marketing from the University of Arkansas. I moved to the Dallas area upon graduation. I went to work in the high-tech industry in various positions (sales, marketing, business development, and strategic planning). I went on to obtain my MBA in marketing and international business from SMU. I transitioned to higher ed about 5-6 years ago to use my experience to help college students envision and prepare for rewarding careers. A fun fact about me is my favorite place is Negril, Jamaica. I have been there five times, and I love it more every time I go!

Describe a typical workday, tasks, and what you enjoy most about your job?

My priority and primary task is 1-on-1 career coaching with College of Science students. I also do workshops and classroom presentations.

Describe the services you provide for UNT students.

Career planning and coaching on majors/minors, resume reviews, practice interviews, networking advice, cover letter & thank you letter reviews, and more!

Why do you believe students utilize the career center? What are the benefits?

The career center helps students at every step of their academic and career planning process. Students who use career center services show higher rates of employment and better salaries than those who do not.
