Meet the College of Education Career Coaches

Marcus King is a Career Coach supporting students in the College of Education. Marcus earned an Ed.D. in Ethical Leadership from the University of St. Thomas (Texas), a M.S. in Sports Administration from Eastern New Mexico University and B.A. in Political Science from Northeastern State University. Marcus has a robust background in college basketball coaching having navigated the dynamic landscape of collegiate sports for over two decades. Recognizing the importance of self-awareness and resilience in career choice he utilizes holistic student development, expertise in mentorship, aptitude for performance enhancement to be a resource for students preparing for their professional journey.

Hannah MacIntyre is a Career Coach supporting students in the College of Education. Hannah is a current Ph.D. Candidate in CAS/Anthropology at Washington State University where she also earned her M.A. in Anthropology. She earned her B.A. in History right here at UNT. (Go Mean Green!) Before joining the Career Center Team, Hannah served as a Public Anthropologist advancing government, Tribal, and community partnerships, research, and digital presence strategies. Hannah has experience teaching in a wide variety of educational settings; in addition to teaching college courses (Introduction to Anthropological Theory and Gender in Cross-cultural Perspectives), she taught high school (Government, Economics, US History, and World Geography) in the DFW Metroplex, and prior to that worked in public health outreach and education.

When not at work, she enjoys time with family, gardening, dancing, riding her bike, and checking out all that Denton has to offer. Hannah is excited to be back at UNT as a Career Coach; she values relationship building and report and is excited to help COE students discover their unique paths to greatness!
